THE SUBJECT IS: “LOVE”
We Need More Love in the World
If we want to change the world in which we live in, how do you feel we can do that?
I personally think we all have it within us to change anything.
We are all related somehow, whether we believe that or not. We all stemmed from the same originator, no matter who or what you believe that is! Can we not agree on that?
How can we fix the world? Do you mutually believe that “all we need is love?”
Do you think we need to change ourselves within?
Do you feel we need to come together?
Do we send love outward?
Do we pray?
I’d like to keep this positive and begin with a quote from Michael Jackson’s song, “Man in the Mirror.”
In the words of Michael Jackson, it is true that in order to change the world, we need to look in the mirror. It is important that we work on ourselves.
If you “want to make the world a better place, then take a look at yourself and make that change.”
It is vital to be the kind, gentle, respectful, loving, supporting, encouraging … best friend of your own mind/self! It is vital to LOVE YOURSELF!
Quoting more of the lyrics: –
“I’m starting with the man in the mirror,
I’m asking him to change his ways,
And no message could have been any clearer,
If you wanna make the world a better place,
Take a look at yourself and then make a change.”
Now, I’m a firm believer in working from within, in order to manifest or simply change the external return of what we put out. Here is a quote from my book, “Positive Programming, The Secret Key to Happiness”: –
Our thoughts, words and emotions play back to us…
“Think about an actual projector. What is projected on a screen or wall is played back to us. It’s the same perception.
Sometimes it’s hard to break the constant record of thoughts and feelings, but it is worth the gradual practice, building up amazing change. If you’re projecting constant negative drama and horror back to yourself, then you need to calculate how to produce happy, joyous, heart-warming projections.”
I believe that we should all begin by loving ourselves, unconditionally! We have all been given incredible and individual gifts! It is vital that we love our individuality. What is sad to see is this fashion of trying to look or be like those who sit in the media, full of heavy make-up and expensive clothing. Yes – it is vital to value ourselves and project that, but to love our unique and individual selves is to live our lives without unnecessary comparison, which can bring unhappiness. Love yourself! Know that nobody else is quite like you. My spiritual perception is that we chose to come here as we are, so it is valuable to respect ourselves for the decisions we made. I sometimes say that we are “perfectly imperfect,” but lately I have been saying that we are actually just perfect exactly how we are!
If we learn to love ourselves first and have love and understanding for our beauty, our character and behaviours, we can learn to love and understand others. When we understand ourselves, then less judgement is attached. If we love ourselves without judgement, then we can begin to love and understand others without judgement too.
Division comes from lack of understanding from being different, but this is silly, as we all know that this life wouldn’t work if everyone and everything was the same – many trying to be the same – copying celebrity life and trying to fit in so badly, when we would bring our own personal value if we were our genuine selves!
Just look at those people who have been true to themselves and believed in themselves no matter what! Robbie Williams tells of the teacher who told him he would never make the singer he is today. Despite this, he believed in himself and conquered his dreams! He battled with himself a lot, but he has won and is continuing to win!
What will it take to stop us from dividing ourselves from one another? An obvious alien invasion?
The current world situation would benefit us if we all came together – if we all gave one another love and understanding.
I believe the answer to all things is LOVE.
If we love ourselves then we project love.
If we project love back to ourselves, then it enhances more love.
If we could all learn to love ourselves and one another, projecting love back, then humanity would aid itself extremely so!
In words of John Lennon: “ALL WE NEED IS LOVE.”
Please always feel free to comment. I know I’m not perfect, I just like to give my perceptions.
