Mastering your own mind is making life work FOR you!
It took me the best part of my life to recognise that our minds are extremely powerful! The awareness and power of our thoughts and words can bring amazing situations! If we are not aware of this immense power and use our thoughts and words negatively, then we can build an unhealthy mind-set, which affects our overall well-being. Our body responds to our mind exactly as it is meant to. Just think about the impact of stress on our bodies. This simple example would see an increase in blood pressure and heart rate. If our minds are programmed to have little confidence, then you also see the impact this has on the body (rounded/tight shoulders, or an uncomfortable looking neck). On the other hand, a positive person can demonstrate confidence in posture and have a joyous, calming affect on themselves and others.
Our thoughts and words impact our mental health and also manifest either a positive or negative energy. I often say that our thoughts and words are like a cinema projector, and that what comes back to us as a result of these are what we see on the screen! It is important to be aware of your internal chitter-chatter as well as the words you speak.
It is vital to hold awareness of the influences around you, and to ensure that you are the only master of your own mind!
Here is a short list of advice: –
- * Keep other people’s opinions – their opinions! Form your own loving, generous, powerful opinion of yourself!
*Trust yourself! Ensure that you have faith in your mind, body and life itself!
*Remain (or become) aware of your thoughts and words. If you think one negative thought, then stop yourself and think of three powerfully-positive thoughts! Be aware of what who and what you are attracting to yourself.
*You are what you do and observe (and absorb) with all of your senses (work, sports, television, movies, advertisements, games, activities, general choices and so on).
*Choose your company wisely. Be around people who lift you up more-so than those who drag you down.
*Live life the way you choose to!
