VISUALISATION
Visualisation
Do you believe in the power of visualisation?
I believe that it can: –
- Manifest/create
- Heal
- Positively forecast
I believe that our imagination is our greatest gift. The evidence is in examples such as: –
-Creating inventions
-Using Reiki to calm, heal and energise.
-Creating the lives and products that we have previously visualised.
I’d like to bring the benefits of visualisation to aiding mental health under the following topics: –
Mirror work:
You may have heard of the mirror technique. This is where you hold expressions that reflect how you wish to feel/be. If you wish to feel happier, then smile with a genuine smile and tell yourself that you are happy – feel that happy emotion as much as you can whilst believing it. If you wish to feel confident, then look at yourself with a confident expression and tell yourself that you are, with that positive, confident feeling behind it. I once looked at myself in a full length mirror and told myself I was immensely powerful. I felt it whilst saying it. I literally saw the energy build – my aura. The general gist is to portray the appearance, add an affirmation and hold the good feeling behind it.
Energy healing with visualisation:
My personal experience of this is visualising huge white or golden words of positivity lowering into the top of the crown of my head and filling my entire internal body. I also love to send huge words into the atmosphere – in a room, hall, or entire building. You can walk into the words and feel them inside your body and all around you. Words such as: –
-Joy
-Peace
-Strength
-health
-calm
Reiki:
Reiki Can bring calm to an anxious mind. It can bring comfort and healing to the body, mind, and our energy-body. Reiki is great for balancing and healing as a general rule. Reiki depends on visualisation and intention, with the use of Japanese symbols that were discovered in the 1800’s by a Japanese doctor. I very much respect reiki and any other form of energy/spiritual healing that has good intention for ourselves and others.
Creating what you want
Whatever you want – you can have if you focus on it enough. Whatever you set your mind to you can do. You can attract what you want by having strong intentions with a strong emotion of love towards that thing, situation, life, etc.
There is an exceptionally informative book called, “The power,” by the writers of “the secret,” who explain this in much detail. If you haven’t already read “the secret,” then this is the book to start with for understanding the powerful manifestation-tools.
